Dr. Ronita Nath holds a PhD in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University. Her research interests include adolescent health, sexual and gender minority populations, and infectious diseases. For her PhD research, she used qualitative and quantitative methods to study the impact of formal and in-formal drop-in centres on the physical health, mental health, and level of substance use of street children and street youth in New Delhi, India. Ronita recently completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the BC Centre for Disease Control, where her research aimed to to understand the drivers of the syphilis epidemic among gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men in British Columbia.
