Linnea Ritland is a half-Asian & queer video person based in Vancouver, BC. She is a settler on unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waltuth) first nations lands, aka Vancouver, BC. They hold a BFA in film production from the University of British Columbia (UBC). They currently work a freelance editor, with clients & collaborators including Salish Legends media, Jon Chiang, LifeLearn (Zoetis, Boehringer Ingelheim), and the CBC. She has experience writing & directing for film and video, including: award-winning queer romcom, “Violet and June”; years of crafting educational content for UBC; video essays exploring topics ranging from human head transplants, Epicureanism (feat. Drake), and internet porn bans.
