Graduate Academic Assistant

Cayley Burton is a Master of Arts (MA) student in Early Childhood Education (ECE) at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where she learns and works on the ancestral, traditional and unceded territory of the Musqueam First Nations people. In addition to working on campus at SARAVYC as a Graduate Academic Assistant (GAA), Cayley is also a Teaching Assistant (TA) at UBC’s Vantage College and The Social Justice Institute, as well as a Peer Tutor at the Centre for Accessibility. Cayley is grateful to be a part of the SARAVYC team at the School of Nursing, where her previous experience caring for, working with and supporting vulnerable youth through nannying, arts-based programs and volunteering informs her research practice and approach.
