Contract Opportunity: Indigenous Videographer

We are seeking a video contractor to help us create an interview video (3 to 5 minutes in length) about our Indigenous and Two Spirit research portfolio. The video will consist of interviews with SARAVYC staff and advisory members interspersed with b-roll. The contractor will be responsible for filming and editing this video, as well as supporting us to plan and coordinate logistics.

This research portfolio is tracking health inequities and protective factors for Indigenous youth, including those who are Two Spirit, gay, lesbian, queer, and bisexual. We are working with an Indigenous and Two Spirit advisory committee—composed of youth, health professionals, teachers, counselors, and other community members—to inform our study’s analyses, as well as the resulting knowledge mobilization materials and activities.

The contract opportunity will be approximately 2 to 3 months and our budget to complete the video is $5,000.

To apply, please send an email to that explains your experience with creating videos (especially Indigenous content) and links to some work samples.
